WHAT TO EXPECT

Wondering if this group is right for you?

Whether you’re a new graduate or a seasoned professional, we think you’d be a great fit for the group if the following applies to you in some way: you are curious about examining old clients through new lenses, you see value in expanding your clinical knowledge and skills, you are looking to explore other modalities, you are seeking connection with other therapists, you need a space to unpack the difficulties and layers of being a helping professional.

What's the commitment?

Group supervision will take place in person monthly or bi-monthly (based on group interest) for two hours on a weekday evening.  The rate is $150/2 hours and will be billed as group supervision.  A 6-month participation commitment is encouraged in the spirit of group dynamics and safety.  Sometimes, life happens and you may miss a session, however a 48-hour cancellation policy will apply to account for our efforts and preparation time.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself!  Within the check-in period, each clinician will have the opportunity to identify if they would like to present a case or a clinical theme.  No case?  No problem!  Learning how other people work with their clients can be an incredible learning opportunity.  When time allows, your facilitators may also spark group discussion by asking questions, sharing their own experiences, teaching a new skill, or providing a psychoeducational topic.

Can I share what I know?

We’re counting on it!  Part of what makes group supervision so valuable is the expertise of everyone in the room.  Come ready to share, ask questions, wonder aloud, and collaborate!

*Please note: While we welcome new graduates, this group will not provide you with formal references for any associations or regulatory bodies. However, character references may be requested and provided on a case by case basis.
